**Update Friday 24th September**
Tracking is not updating successfully on some September boxes shipped between 13-15 September. This is due to an error on the Hermes system. This is widespread across the Hermes national network and impacting other businesses.
They have assured us that your boxes are safely in their network and will be delivered shortly, it not already received.
We are asking that you allow until Tuesday 28th September for your September box to arrive.
We are so sorry for any trouble caused and hope you love your box once it reaches you!
For existing subscribers, we aim to ship the monthly Birchbox within 14 days of billing.
Tracking your Birchbox
All boxes, unless otherwise arranged, are sent via Hermes. When your box is ready to be dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive an email from Hermes to let you know they are awaiting your parcel from Birchbox.
Once your box has been passed to Hermes, you’ll then receive an email from Birchbox letting you know your box is on its way with a link to track it as it makes its way to you. You can expect to see updates on your tracking around 48 hours after you have received your dispatch email from Birchbox and we ask that you allow 3-5 working days from receiving this email for your box to reach you. When your parcel has been marked as successfully delivered by Hermes they’ll also send you an email notifying you of this.
Below is an outline for each of the different tracking statuses you may see.
- Order Placed or We're expecting your parcel to arrive with us soon - this signifies the courier is waiting to receive your parcel from Birchbox.
- We've received your parcel - your parcel has left our warehouse and been passed to courier to be processed for delivery.
- Your parcel is on its way to you today - the courier is due to deliver your parcel today.
If you know you are not going to be home to receive your box, you can divert your parcel to your chosen safe place or neighbour so that you can receive it safely. Using the link below, simply enter your 16 digit tracking number and delivery postcode and follow the instructions on the screen.

Your box can also be tracked from your Birchbox Account homepage or My Birchbox page (see below).
The courier will attempt delivery 3 times to receive a signature on delivery. If you are not available they can choose to deliver to a safe place or neighbour at the discretion of the driver.
If you are concerned about the delivery of your and it has been more than 5 working days since you received your dispatch email - please reach out to us us ensuring you provide:
- Your full name
- The email address your account is associated with
- Your full shipping address (including postcode)
- Your Hermes tracking number

This may mean we have had to ship your Birchbox with Royal Mail (if you are a UK based customer) - please allow a full 5 working days for Royal Mail delivery in the UK and check your property for delivery notes.
**A note on boxes shipping to Ireland**
Our carrier partners are reporting delays due to backlogs caused by the new Brexit regulations. We are working closely with courier partners and exploring all possible options to find the best solution to get your box to you, and return to a reliable service.
